Hello Dear One,

Thank you so much for visiting Bleeding in the Garden. My name is Michele and I am devoted to guiding you into remembering the power and importance of your Menstrual Cycle through working with the Earth. My intention for creating this virtual space is to share deeply about Menstruation, our connection to the land, and the Ceremonial relationship we can create to  our Bleeding Time.

Because of my own healing journey with my Cycle, I feel called to speak openly about the profound nature of Bleeding. I have found great purpose in connecting with people on the many aspects of Menstruation. I find that many Women (and those who bleed but don't identify as 'woman') don't know much about their Cycles and I often hear that they were never really taught in depth about Menstruation. I also was not informed on the power of my body until I began my own research due to very painful cycles.

Going deeper into the meaning and symbolism of my Blood has given me a very strong purpose. Connecting to my Womb's internal Ceremony has shown me my power and how to respect and honor my body. This is what I will share with you because

                                                              we all deserve Body Sovereignty!

Here, I will speak from my own experiences and research. I assure you that I am not a doctor in any way. Please seek medical advice from your MD, as I am simply here to guide you.  I did study Herbalism at the Florida School of Holistic Living and am a Community Herbalist. Working with plants is a daily exchange for me. They are here to support us in this human life, and we are here to tend to them. We see in many cultures where the Sacred Feminine is not honored, Nature itself is not honored. There is a correlation, for me, with Womb Work and Earth Work. By tending to our internal landscape, we find more resonance and support in the world around us. The Earth is our foundation for healing, and part of my mission is to reconnect Bleeding Humans to their Source ~ the Earth.

 

My teachings into the Blood Mysteries started several years ago, but my formal training took place with Laura Carmody (PriestessingtheParadigmShift.com), Graell Corsini (priestessgraell.com) & Aurora Rae (Ourredtent.com) in Ashland, Oregon at Shanti Mountain Retreat Center & the Goddess Temple of Ashland. With these powerful Women as my guides, I was initiated into the Red Tent Lineage and took on the title of Priestess. This title though is something I will never get used to calling myselfand will most likely be a life-long initiation for me. I am also a nature-based educator,  teaching intentional gardening and Permaculture to children & adults.

I hope to provide a sacred & safe space of support & resources, personal & raw conversations, opportunities to grow & heal, and ultimately one day an intentional Center for Humans to Bleed ceremoniously together.
